Brent Dutson is vice president of Transwestern Atlanta’s industrial services team. In his position, Brent works with distribution firms, manufacturers, research and development companies, and other users of industrial space. He helps them acquire, dispose, and build properties that best fit their real estate needs.
Brent also represents institutional and private owners of industrial assets, providing strategic asset identification and acquisition, due diligence, leasing and marketing, and investment sales expertise. He has worked recently with clients such as Cobalt Capital Partners, GE Capital, Crown Development, and Sharps Compliance.
Prior to joining Transwestern, Brent was with Flagship Group, an investment, development, and brokerage firm in Atlanta. He has successfully completed numerous transactions in the commercial real estate industry since 2001. Working primarily on industrial projects but also investment sales, office, development, and residential assignments, Brent has represented clients in a portfolio of transactions worth tens of millions of dollars and totaling hundreds of thousands of feet.
Brent is a licensed real estate broker in Georgia and a licensed salesperson in the State of Florida. He was a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors’ Million Dollar Club in 2009 and 2010, and also is a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors’ Young Council and the Atlanta Board of Realtors. From 2002 to 2006, Brent served as chairman of the Buckhead Ducks Unlimited chapter.
Brent earned his bachelor’s in real estate finance and management from Georgia State University. He also studied economics at University of Georgia.
