Al Cissel

Al Cissel is based out of the Bethesda, Maryland office of Transwestern. He is co-director of the Institutional Multi-family Group and provides investment sales services for multi-family properties and multi-family land in the Washington Metropolitan area, as well as nationally.
Al has closed in excess of $2 billion in transactions for apartment buildings, office buildings, warehouses and undeveloped property throughout the course of his career. In 2003, Al was involved in transactions with a sales volume transcending a record $615 million. In recent years, he has specialized in multi-family assets, developing strong, long-term relationships with companies including Archstone REIT, Fairfield Residential, JPI and Trammell Crow Residential.
Al was named, together with his partner, Scott Melnick, as Hot Broker of 2003 by Commercial Property News. In addition, Al has earned the National Producer of the Year Award by Transwestern in 2001 and 2002. For the past several years, he has also received awards for Top Ten Highest Gross Sales from the Greater Commercial Association for the Washington Metropolitan area.
Al has been with Transwestern since 1980 and has 24 years of commercial real estate experience. He is a lifetime member of the Washington, D.C. Board of Realtors' Million Dollar Sales Club.
Al Cissel earned his Bachelor's degree from University of Maryland majoring in Business and Finance. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. |
