Bruce Ford

Bruce Ford is Transwestern’s president of its Southeast region, in charge of business development activities for agency leasing, property management, and investment sales, as well as the firm's sustainability services throughout the Southeast. Ford is also responsible for Transwestern's regional operations, overseeing the day-to-day running of the firm's Atlanta and South Florida offices.
Prior to joining Transwestern, Ford served with GVA Advantis as regional president of Georgia and the Carolinas. His responsibilities included leading business development activity and managing all brokerage, property and asset management, and construction services for the region. Ford also directed the companies that ultimately became GVA Advantis, including the management services group of Armada/Hoffler as early as 1989. Before joining Armada/Hoffler, Ford worked with the Smith Companies in Washington, D.C., where he managed some of the company’s most recognized projects.
Ford holds the designation of Real Property Administrator (RPA) from the Building Owners & Managers Institute. He is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association’s national advisory council. He also is active in Holy Innocents Episcopal Church and School, and is a board member of Childspring International.
Ford holds a Bachelor of Administration in Political Science from Wake Forest University. At Harvard University, he completed Running a Real Estate Company, one the school’s executive education programs.
