Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

As Regional Director of Engineering, DJ works directly with Property Managers, Engineers, Strategic Account Management (SAM) program clients, Asset Managers, and sustainability leadership to implement and maintain building management systems, schedule and conduct all preventative maintenance, execute operations, and uphold Transwestern’s quality standards. DJ works to protect assets and the value of the properties while managing a high-performing team and providing exceptional client service.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

DJ joined Transwestern with over 25 years of building maintenance and operations experience in a commercial real estate environment, encompassing everything from medical office and life sciences to industrial and data center uses.
 
Prior to joining Transwestern, DJ was employed by Irvine Company, where he started as an HVAC Technician. He progressed into the Engineering Manger role, where he was responsible for overseeing the expansion in Silicon Valley. There, he was instrumental in the successful growth and occupancy of 1.5 million square feet to over 8 million square feet of mixed-use space and the recruitment and hiring of 15 engineers.
