Gary directs investment sales and real estate investment banking activities throughout the Midwest region. His primary focus is originating, structuring and executing office and industrial investment sales and capital market transactions for institutional, corporate, and private owners of real estate.

Gary began his career in commercial real estate in 1990 and joined Transwestern in 1999 to direct the firm’s Midwest Investment Services Group. Since 1995, Gary has participated in investment sales assignments involving over 18 million square feet of office and industrial property, single asset and portfolio sales in the Midwest.

Prior to joining Transwestern, Gary served as an associate director for Cushman & Wakefield’s financial services group, where he participated in investment sales assignments of 2.5 million square feet of office property in suburban Chicago markets. During his nine-year tenure with Cushman & Wakefield, Gary also served corporate clients in domestic and international tenant representation, building agency leasing, land disposition and acquisition.

Gary earned a B.A. in geology from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a M.B.A. in
finance and real estate from Northwestern
University in Evanston, Illinois. He holds
