As Chief Operating Officer, Mark provides leadership and support for the national and major growth initiatives of Transwestern. In addition, Mark works closely with other members of senior management in the development and execution of company strategy.

Mark has 26 years of industry experience with public and private real estate companies in the areas of real estate operations, finance and investment. Prior to joining Transwestern, Mark was chief financial officer of Prentiss Properties Trust, a public real estate investment trust located in Dallas, Texas. He participated in their IPO in October 1996, was responsible for financial strategy as well as capital planning and execution, and coordinated the company's investment activities.

In addition, Mark previously served as senior vice president of finance for Lincoln Property Company. His responsibilities included financing the company's development and acquisition activities in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions. Mark also held various positions with KPMG Peat Marwick in Dallas.

Mark is an active member of the following organizations:

• The Cambridge School of Dallas – Board of Trustees

Mark earned both his B.B.A. in accounting and his M.B.A. from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
