Transwestern’s Chicago office announced today that it has been named a Top Workplace by the Chicago Tribune for the second year in a row. Transwestern placed 13th in the small employer category, which included 45 companies of fewer than 250 employees. Transwestern is the only third-party commercial real estate services provider to receive this award in 2011. The award is an effort by the Chicago Tribune and WorkplaceDynamics, a workplace survey specialist, to identify the top 100 workplaces in the Chicago area.
The Chicago Tribune’s “Top 100 Workplaces” list was determined based upon employee feedback received through a multi-question survey. Employees responded to a set of statements about their feelings toward their workplace regarding issues that included direction of the company, execution and conditions, among others. Chicago’s Top Workplaces were featured in a special magazine in the November 15th edition of the Chicago Tribune, and the companies receiving this designation were honored at a November 14th awards reception at the Chase Auditorium.
