For the second year in a row, Transwestern has secured a top position in the Orange County Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” survey. Placed among other large-sized firms in Orange County, Transwestern was recognized for its wellness programs, including a biometric screening program, and its broad range of benefits including profit-sharing, retirement match, domestic partner benefits, tuition re-imbursement and telecommuting opportunities.
The honor is a further indication of Transwestern’s growth and strong presence in the market. It follows the recent appointment of Elizabeth Hurley as managing senior vice president to lead the company’s transactional services in the county. And in May, Transwestern was recognized as Orange County’s third-largest property manager for the past two years, with a local portfolio of more than 12 million square feet. The appearance in Orange County Business Journal’s survey follows Transwestern appearing on the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” list in August, when it achieved that honor for the fourth year in a row.

The Business Journal’s Best Places to Work list represents firms that scored the highest by the Best Companies Group. It is based on employer questionnaire detailing policies, practices and benefits, as well as an employee engagement and satisfaction survey.
