Transwestern’s South Florida office today announced the signing of 57,196 square feet of leases at Miami Tower, the iconic image of the city's business district located at 100 S.E. 2nd Street. Genovese Joblove & Battista, P.A., Ver Ploeg & Lumpkin, and Fabricant Morton & Company have reaffirmed their commitment to the Miami market by expanding their footprint within Miami Tower.

“In today’s economic climate, tenants respond to stability. The recent acquisition of Miami Tower by a solid institutional owner speaks volumes to tenants viewing South Florida real estate opportunities,” said Gordon Messinger, vice president with Transwestern, the exclusive leasing agent for Miami Tower.

Genovese Joblove & Battista, P.A., one of the largest boutique practices in Florida with recognized expertise and extensive experience in complex bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters, has signed a long-term renewal and expansion totaling 31,597 square feet, occupying more than two full floors in the upper bank of the building.

Ver Ploeg & Lumpkin, P.A., a law firm which represents policyholders in coverage and bad faith disputes with insurance carriers, has signed a long-term renewal and expansion totaling 22,667 square feet, occupying more than a full floor.

Fabricant Morton & Company, P.A., a boutique accounting firm based in Miami which provides tax services for small businesses and individuals, has signed a renewal and expansion for 2,932 square feet.

“Crucial to these transactions was our ability to accommodate the expansion of the tenants without the interruption of business,” continued Messinger. “Combined with Miami Tower’s attributes of ideal location, prestige in design and exceptional ease of access, we are poised to continue to meet and exceed tenant expectations.”

The 600,000-square foot, 47-story Class "A" Tower is one of the world’s most recognized office buildings in Miami’s famed skyline due primarily to its changing palette of exterior lighting schemes, which alter to seasonal, city, sports, and private events. Designed by the legendary architect I.M. Pei, Miami Tower was designed to be timeless and to withstand and exceed a burgeoning downtown, boasting unparalleled ease of access to expressways, courthouses, and the Metro Mover, and to accentuate its magnificent views of the ocean, city, and the building’s Sky Terrace.
