Transwestern’s Midwest region continues its strategic growth with the addition of a key, differentiating team member and experienced professional to its Chicago office. Vineet Sahgal has joined the firm as executive vice president and managing director of the Tenant Advisory Services group. Sahgal will represent major clients while leading the region’s Tenant Advisory Services group. He will also take a substantial role in helping to develop and guide national business generation activities for the region.

He was targeted specifically for the unique talents he will bring to the firm and the leadership skills he will provide in the continuing growth of the region,” says Robert Bagguley, president of Transwestern’s Midwest region. “In addition to working on some of the area’s most prominent client accounts, Vineet specializes in working with his colleagues to bring creative service solutions to the marketplace in all areas of commercial real estate, and he will lead this effort at Transwestern,” adds Bagguley.
Sahgal will work with Bagguley to expand Transwestern’s client services regionally and nationally. “I am very excited to have the opportunity to join a firm with national full service capabilities that has a track record for outstanding client service and collaboration. Sahgal joins Transwestern from Grubb & Ellis where he served as an executive vice president and director of business development. Working directly with corporate real estate directors, Sahgal developed and executed real estate portfolio strategies for over two million square feet of transactions in North America, in addition to leading business development efforts in the Chicago office. He represents numerous notable companies including CareerBuilder LLC, Arthur J. Gallagher Company, Sears Roebuck, Convergys Corporation and Tenneco Automotive.

Prior to Grubb & Ellis, Sahgal was senior vice president of the Corporate Solutions Group at Jones Lang LaSalle. He received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business, a Juris Doctorate from the Northwestern University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan. He has been recognized by both Jones Lang LaSalle and Grubb & Ellis as being in the top five percent of all producers nationwide.
