Transwestern’s Houston office today announced Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. leased 206,296 square feet at 1701 S. 16th Street in LaPorte, Texas. John Nicholson of Transwestern represented the tenant, Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. and Gary Mabry, Jason Dillee, and Mike Taetz of Colliers International represented the landlord, ML Realty.
Ferguson is a diverse wholesale distributor with operations spanning multiple business groups. The company is ranked as the largest plumbing wholesaler in North America. Ferguson is also the industry's second largest distributor of pipes, valves and fittings, waterworks, and heating and cooling equipment in North America.
John Nicholson, Transwestern senior vice president, commented on the deal, “Ferguson toured the Houston market and decided that a facility close to the port was advantageous to operations and efficiencies.”
