Tom leads Transwestern's capital market efforts for its development projects nationwide. Tom also serves on the firm's board of directors and contributes to the expansion of the firm's development practice across the country.

Prior to joining Transwestern, Tom served as senior managing director of the investment management group of the Trammell Crow Company. These responsibilities included securing, structuring and negotiating capital, both debt and equity, for acquisitions, developments and sales nationally. Additionally, Tom was responsible for handling structured finance transactions for TCC's build-to-suit, healthcare, airport and higher education initiatives. Tom also created a fund targeting the development and investment in medical office properties.

Tom is a member of the Texas Real Estate Commission. Tom earned his B.A. from the University of Virginia
in 1976 and his master's degree in business
administration from Harvard University in 1983.
