Anthony (Tony) Karmin is currently an Executive Vice President with the tenant representation group of Transwestern in Chicago. He also jointly oversees the development of the Chicago brokerage operation in conjunction with his Executive Vice President colleagues, Mark Robbins and Phil Utigard.

Tony has represented many corporations and professional firms in office lease relocations and renegotiations in the Chicagoland area and around the country. He has specialized in tenant representation and client services such as structuring and negotiating commercial leases, developing comprehensive and strategic real estate plans and assisting with the acquisition and disposition of owned or leased properties. This representation includes Securities/Investment Banking, Insurance, Advertising/Post Production, Mortgage Banking, Real Estate, Accounting, Financial Services, Law Offices, e-commerce / Technology corporations and Medical related business.

Prior to joining Transwestern in 2005 Tony spent twenty years in the commercial real estate business most recently as a Senior Vice President with CB Richard Ellis, where he continued to rank as one of the top five produces in years 2002, 2003 and 2004. Previously, Tony was at Frain Camins and Swathchild and with Goldie B. Wolfe and Company in the Tenant Representation group. He has represented his clients in transactions totaling more than 1 billion dollars.

Tony earned a B.A. in business and economics from Lake Forest College.
