110 Tower, the location of Transwestern’s Fort Lauderdale office, was recently recognized with the “LEEDership Award” by the US Green Building Council as the most outstanding LEED Existing Building project of the year.  110 Tower is the only multi-tenant office building in Fort Lauderdale to achieve LEED EB Gold certification.  The 30-story building is also ENERGY STAR certified.  As a result of the building’s market-leading sustainability initiatives, Fort Lauderdale Mayor John P. "Jack" Seiler declared September 7, 2011 to be “110 Tower Day” in the city. 

Walter Byrd and Ben Eisenberg, Transwestern’s market leaders in Fort Lauderdale and for Florida, along with their partner Thomas Kresse, were recognized by the Daily Business Review as South Florida’s “Top Dealmakers” in 2011 for the industrial real estate category. 

Nationally, Transwestern was selected in 2011 as the ENERGY STAR® Sustained Excellence Partner.  For eight consecutive years, Transwestern has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year (2004, 2005) and as a Sustained Excellence Partner (2006 - 2011) for outstanding contribution in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
